
Gustaf Andreasen, Timothy Wittebort Return to Howard & Howard
Bloomfield Hills, Michigan – March 7, 2007: Howard & Howard is pleased to announce that Gustaf R. Andreasen and Timothy Wittebort have rejoined the firm and its Corporate & Real Estate Group. They will reside in the Bloomfield Hills Office.
Mr. Andreasen concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate law, business law, public sector law and real estate development. He represents a broad spectrum of both private enterprises and public sector clients. Mr. Andreasen's experience includes counsel on all types of matters including governance issues, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, real estate and finance issues.
Mr. Andreasen received both his B.A. in 1983 and his J.D. in 1987 from Brigham Young University. He is a member of the American Bar Association and State Bar of Michigan sections on Public Corporations, Business and International Law.
Mr. Wittebort concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate, transactions and commercial lending, closely held business matters and health care law. He received his B.S. from Western Michigan University in 1985 and his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School in 1988, where he was an Assistant Editor of the Wayne Law Review.
Mr. Wittebort has broad experience in business and transactional matters with a particular emphasis on real estate transactions. He has represented property owners, commercial lenders and municipalities in various facets of acquisition, disposition and leasing. Mr. Wittebort also has extensive experience in advising developers on large, retail and mixed use projects, including land use, planning and retail leasing development of real property. He has particular experience in representing downtown development authorities and downtown redevelopment projects. Mr. Wittebort has also represented a large municipality in structuring and negotiating the privatization of a large urban medical center.
Mr. Wittebort is a frequent author and lecturer on a variety of business and professional topics including downtown redevelopment and real estate financing. He is also active in community and charitable organizations including the Pontiac Neighborhood Revitalization Corporation. Mr. Wittebort is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Oakland County Bar Association.
